    Payment

    Rold Gl. Kro – The Dog Inn ApS accepts online payments with Visa/Dankort, Mastercard, MobilePay Online, and ApplePay.

    Payment will only be deducted from your account once the physical item has been dispatched or the virtual product has been created unless otherwise agreed or stated in your order.

     

    Reservation of amount
    When using a payment card, whether debit or credit, the transaction amount will be reserved. This amount remains reserved until the webshop has processed and dispatched your order. Once the order is dispatched, the money will be withdrawn from your account. The reservation period depends on the product/service.

     

    Authorisation on debit cards
    For debit cards, you will see the reserved amount on your account, and your available balance will reflect the deduction. If you or the webshop cancel the order, the webshop cannot withdraw the funds, but the reservation will still apply for a period. Please note that only your bank (or card issuer) can remove the reservation.

     

    Authorisation on credit cards
    The funds will only be withdrawn from your account and appear in your transaction overview once the webshop processes and charges payment for your order.

    Complaint procedures

    Any complaint should first be attempted to be resolved with Rold Gl. Kro.

     

    If a dispute cannot be resolved directly with the inn, a complaint can be submitted to Nævnenes Hus, Mediation Team for Consumer Complaints, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, via the Complaint Portal for Nævnenes Hus. The mediation team will attempt to resolve the dispute, and if no solution is found, the complaint can be referred to the Consumer Complaints Board.

     

    Generally, a complaint is only valid if the disputed product or service has cost at least 1.110 DKK and at most 100.000 DKK. For complaints regarding clothing and footwear, the minimum price is typically 720 DKK. These limits may change. A fee applies for submitting a complaint.

     

    The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform can also be used for submitting complaints. This is particularly relevant if you are an EU resident outside Denmark. Complaints can be submitted here:
